First leg of flight to Charleston to visit my son at the Citadel. He is in his second year there and it was parent's weekend. Flying with me is a pilot friend who wanted some additional cross-country experience. Joan is used to flying C172s and Aeronca Champs. Cruising along in N115CC, my Bellanca Super Viking gave her more appreciate for what a slightly faster plane can get accomplished in a day. Nothing negative against Cessna's and Champs. I've flown both a lot an love them for what they give to GA. Plenty of rain on this leg. I logged 3.2hrs of actual and my approach into 2M2 kept me in IMC until after the final approach fix (FAF). Good chance to bounce FIS-B against XM Weather. Really liking the FIS-B on Naviator. View my other legs for some pictures. Didn't take any during this leg.
